The following are highlighted projects from ENG 334: Linguistics, taught by Dr. Sandra M. Leonard.

There are two project types, Dialect and ConLang:
  • For the Dialect projects, student groups were asked to do extensive research on a particular dialect or accent of English.
  • Under the ConLang projects, a “Constructed Language” is a deliberately-created language, such as Esperanto and J.R.R. Tolkien's Elvish. For this project, students were asked to create their own language with a working grammar and brief lexicon.
