Description
Lantern slide of Alloway Auld Kirk, circa 1905, which is a 16th-century ruined church in Alloway, South Ayrshire, Scotland. It is best known as the setting for Robert Burns's poem "Tam o' Shanter", in which the protagonist Tam o' Shanter encounters a coven of witches dancing in the graveyard.
