Lantern slide showing a photograph of the Post Office and Loan Society in Cosel, Upper Silesia, Germany circa 1905. Most commonly, "Cosel o.s." refers to the city of Kędzierzyn-Koźle in southwestern Poland.This city was known as Cosel in Germany until the end of World War II, hence the "o.s." abbreviation for "Oberschlesien" (Upper Silesia).
