Abstract
A recording of Dr. David Valuska talking about the Pennsylvania Germans during the American Civil War at the Kutztown Folk Festival in 2019. Dr. Valuska is professor emeritus in history from Kutztown University. He is the founding Director of the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center and first Freyberger Chair of Pennsylvania German Studies. He has written a book about the Pennsylvania Germans at the Battle of Gettysburg
