Description

Panama City is the largest and the capital city of Panama. Located on the Pacific side of the country, it is the oldest European settlement on the Pacific. It was first founded on August 15th, 1519, quickly becoming known as a major trading port. This photograph showcases a view of the city and the bay from Ancon Hill, as it is in the early 1900's.
