Cairo is the capital of Egypt, it is one of the largest cities in Africa with a population of about 10 million people. In the forefront of this picture is a bronze lion statue. The lion statues mark the entrance to the Qasr El Nile Bridge - which crosses the Nile River. You can see people crossing the bridge on foot. There are also carts crossing the bridge as well as animals such as horses, mules, and camels. They are crossing the bridge to bring their wares to the market.
