Description
The Soufrière Volcano is an active volcano located in The Caribbean Sea. It is on the island of Guadeloupe and is the highest point on the Island, measuring 4,813 ft above sea level. It has erupted many times since it started being monitored in 1718. This picture shows a man examining one of the fissures. A Volcanic Fissure is a crack from which lava will erupt from.
