Aims & Scope
JCPS provides manuscripts that enhance the practice of counselor education, counseling, and supervision. There are three general categories that help focus the content of the journal.
Research. These articles focus on research (qualitative, quantitative, mixed) in counselor preparation, professional development, supervision, and professional practice.
Theory. These articles explore professional models for teaching empirically grounded counseling theories used by professional counselors, as well as the teaching and supervision theories applied in professional preparation programs.
Applied Practice. These articles explore professional models for teaching empirically grounded practices used by professional counselors, as well as the teaching and supervision practices applied in professional preparation programs.
