Description

Mer de Glace (“a sea of ice”) in Chamonix, France. The glacier is located right above the Valley of the Chamonix. When the Europeans discovered this location in 1741, they had no idea that there were people living within the valley. There are many mountain climbers that attempted to climb up the mountain, only to pass away.
