Description
The Yangtze River is the third longest river in the world, and the longest river on the Eurasian continent at 3,915 miles long. This image was taken of the river valley in Zhenjiang, also spelled Chinkiang, one of the major port cities along the river, most famous for its black vinegar. The river often flooded and changed its course, and at this place and time the valley was notably wide.
