Description
This picture is taken from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Being one of the world's most famous avenues, it reaches from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. It is known for its prestigious theatres, cafes, and shops, but mostly notably is used to finish the race of the Tour de France and the annual military parade on Bastille Day. Avenue des Champs Elysees translates to "The Elysian Fields," which is a cemetery for heroes in Greek Mythology.
