Description
This image shows a roadway cutting across Lake Isa in Yellowstone Park in Wyoming. While Yellowstone National Park spans Montana and Idaho, the majority of it, including this lake, is in the northwest corner of Wyoming. Lake Isa is along the highest crossing of the Continental Divide in Yellowstone and used to be the only lake that drained naturally backwards into two different ocean. The roads shown are along the Craig Pass, which are usually open year-round save for when the weather is particularly bad.
