Description
Sackville Street is a street that connects the O'Connell Bridge and Parnell Street in Dublin, Ireland. While it was originally called Drogheda Street after the first Earl of Drogheda, it was later renamed Sackville Street after Lionel Sackville, the first Duke of Dorset. It features several monuments, such as the Spire of Dublin and statues of James Larkin and Daniel O’Connell. The street was later renamed to O’Connell Street in 1924.
