Abstract
This is a children's story told to me by Dr. John Kilatu in 1981. He also wrote the transcription which I have copied here. I have followed very, very closely his transcription conventions here. It is about Tuisavalau. I went over the story with him in 1981 but the English translation was done in 2021, so there may be some problems. Kilatu read from his script in giving the oral version, but he made some minor changes as he read from the script which are not transcribed.
